    Don't know whether they are silver or not. But they are not for export for sure.

    Thanks, @Asian Fever .
    I agree, they are typically for Chinese domestic use. They don't look Straits Chinese/Peranakan in style to me, Peranakan ladies generally wore (hair)jewellery that had more Malay influence in the general shape.
    Of course similar pieces could have been imported for Chinese 'latecomers' in Southeast Asia, just like they could have ended up with Chinese ladies anywhere in the world.
