Can someone help value these?

I inherited both of these pieces from my mom. She inherited them from her dad.
The mirror has a date on the back of 1908. It is a really heavy mirror, frame is metal and painted with country scenes. It looks like it say painted by R.A. in Wisconsin. Mirror is beveled.
The chair was reupholstered probably back in 1970's when my mom inherited it from her dad.

 

I've brightened your photo to try & show more details. Better & larger photos would be nice. Also, a picture of the back of the mirror please.

The mirror wants to be Italian. Hand painted? I'd be betting the chair is 1890-1910; the back looks like presswood, but better than the usual kitchen chair.

 

The mirror has painted panels with still lives at top and bottom and painted panels with landscapes at right and left. Would you be kind enough to post close-up photographs?

A close up of the back of the chair would also be helpful. Nicer than average pieces but not terribly valuable. Market is down. Value is highly dependent on where and how selling. Here in my Midwest location, at retail, maybe a hundred or so for the mirror. $50.00 or so for the chair. Maybe more in some big city locations. Less in Podunkville. Double or triple that for insurance purposes.

I'd try to sell it as arts & crafts and start it with 500 $.

 

I sell on line and don't ship glass that won't fit safely in an 8x8x8 box, so I'm no help. Price depends a lot on where you are. It would sell here, but we still have a market for black lacquer and the mirror would fit right in. Personally I'd sit it on the floor in a spare bedroom and use it.
