Featured From the Thrift Store: Unique Leather bench

I really love this website. You all are so knowledgeable and helpful. I'm grateful to you.

I work in a thrift store in Greenville, SC. This came in today. Any ideas? (The arms were off, so I re-attached them with Allen bolts -- should I just leave them off?)

The leather engravings look South American, but I know next-to-nothing about such things.

Thank you! Since this is to sell, any inkling of how much it might be worth? Also, should I condition the leather, or leave it be?

 

The central figure appears to be Inti, the Peruvian sun god. If you do an internet image search for "vintage," "tooled leather" and "Peru," other examples will come up. Mid-century. Condition look quite good.

Not a clue! but, as much as the traffic will bear? BAM! Wait for others on this, i am more of an old furniture guy, very old furniture.
It looks to be in good condition so should bring a decent price.

I wouldn't try to condition it, let the buyer do yhat. If tou could just wipe it with a barely moist towel, not saturating it
