As a new member and someone it’s not that great with computer, I’m not sure if this will turn out that they said come to this site and add something about yourself if you’d like. I have gotten into antiques in the last 10 years or so since both my parents are gone and I inherited a lot of them in my book it’s a lot probably not in those peoples but I have a few pieces.
There are some unique things among them which I’d really like to know what they are one of them was this desk I put online. I also have some pictures, pen and ink drawing by John Costigan and couple other paintings, a Remington that I know couldn’t possibly be real but it sure looks like it. I have some stuben glass and flow blue plates. There are other things but I’m not thinking about them right now so I don’t remember what they were.! I just think it’ll be great to poke around and see what everybody else has got to kind of get a better idea of what antiques are popular and sought after and those that are just common. I’m sure most are common but I love them because they were theirs thanks to all who maintain and participate in this forum!

Welcome, Linda Sue! You did fine with your introduction. :)

Many people have joined here because of being in a similar situation to your own - wanting to know about things they had been given by family who were no longer around to answer questions about the items. No need to rush yourself. We're always here. :)

Thank you very much for your words of encouragement! It’s very nice to get hooked up with others in my situation. Everyone seems to be very good about replying and giving out information that they can which I’ve found a lot of places aren’t as friendly

If your curious when I say a Remington, I have a Remington statue called Scalp. Frederic Remingtons fourth bronze. It’s about 27 inches tall and probably weighs about 50 lbs! It can’t be one of the original ones but it is older and is very exact
