    Hello,
more items from my late mother in law. I had a difficult time getting the necklaces all in the frame as they are very long. I also thought sunlight would help, but all it did is create shadows. Any info is appreciated.

    Thank you

I don't know much about jewelry, but I do know a bit about silver marks. There's a tiny mark on the back near where the center one of the 3 dangles is attached. In your picture it looks like the outline of bell and should have a number inside it. Can you get a picture of that part by itself?

This appears to be your oldest piece. Need an in focus picture of the front.
I'm thinking 1930s, but need better picture.

The cloisonne looks to be from the 1970s -80s.

As Bakers said the Mexican piece is marked. Looks like JE, but need a better picture.
That one is marked 925 - so silver.

Ok - the simplified form of the "eagle" was used from the late 60's into the 70's. The number 1 inside designates that the maker was in Mexico City. Unfortunately I have been unable to find a maker using the initials AJC or even just JC. But it's unlikely that the maker was one of the "big names" in Mexican silversmiths. At least you have a rough idea of age.

Someone here who knows more about the "jewelry" aspects of this piece will be along to comment.

I agree with Bakers... Mexico City, probably circa 1970. The value in Mexican silver jewelry seems to be based heavily on if the maker is highly regarded, and most of the most collectible pieces were created in Taxco.

I have some pieces from a lesser designer in Mexico City from the 1950s and have sold some in the past. In my experience they sell, just not for as much and may take longer to sell.

I also agree with Cluttered on the beads and pendant (is it a pendant?)... cloisonne, last few decades of the 20th century and, in my experience, made in China.

The one string of beads at least has a classic Chinese clasp, and the designs on the Cloisonne piece all look Chinese to me. The pendant does too. If I had to guess, I'd say 1970s and 1980s. The pendant looks to be on the later end.

Oops, I agree... Chinese on the cloisonne, not Japanese. I just edited my post to say that. :)

    @Rxwoman
    Much better thank you.
Must say the picture surprised me. I wasn't expecting to see a Chinese Junk. It also appears to be hand painted and not enamel - is that correct?

I do think this probably dates from 1920s-30s. Are there any maker's marks on it?

    Adding
The cord may not be original.

The engine turned designs on the back & sides are consistent with other compacts of the era. And you would expect the cover to be enamel.

The turquoise coloured Chinese beads could be porcelain painted to look like cloisonné. I've seen that before. The white ones are cloisonné.

The Mexican one is by Andres Juarez Carbaral, Mexico DF (region of Mexico City).
You didn't, cluttered.:) The sails on this one are billowing, the construction of junk sails with all those cross poles (I'm sure there is a better term) is too rigid for that:

The scene looks Dutch, but could be anywhere with a lot of sailboats.
