Featured Gaah, How Would You Even Describe This?

I have no idea how to describe this, so I'm pondering just throwing it into a lot with other items. Does't look like it's exceptionally well done or anything, but I'd still like to know who made it.

There's a maker's mark at the bottom of the pin, but it just looks like a generic oval with a long checkmark inside it.

My daughter says it looks like a mummy. Only description I can think of is "modernist". Suggestions?

Well, it made me chuckle, so I bet someone would be amused enough to want it. :)

For some reason it makes me think of the 20s? But that doesn't mean it was made then.

I like the idea of ribbon face/head. Heck, maybe I'll go with that with a low price, just to move it along.

Maybe I'll toss in crash test dummy for good measure. :p

Surrealist - try to decipher the mark? I can't enlarge it enough.

The mark is very generic looking. I tried to cut that area of the photo but it came out too grainy. It is just an oval with a very elongated checkmark on it.

Surrealist is another good descriptor too.

What is the size and did you check for silver? It has a lot of casting porosity and mold lines were not removed.

Something to wear on days when you feel you're coming unraveled.

Silver didn't even occur to me because I thought it was so crude looking on the back (to me) - but I'll definitely check now that you mentioned it.

    It's 2-1/4" long and 1-1/4" wide.

I think it would sell given the unusual look. Made me giggle when I saw it too.
Looks kinda like the invisible man creature thing when he gets wrapped up in cloth.
I hope I have the right spooky guy.

I'd put "unique" as a keyword in the title.
