My dear friend Pamela Apkarian-Russell "The Halloween Queen" (trademarked) has an entire building stuffed, and I mean stuffed, with vintage and antique Halloween, bleeding over into some Salem Witch, Robert Burns, Celtic pagan, spiritualism, mourning and who knows what-all. Her husband Chris was English, so they had traveled and collected for years before Halloween became a "thing". She makes her modest living giving tours of her collection, Castle Halloween, in Altoona, PA. She has also authored several Halloween collectible books and is a familiar face in the East Coast antiques show circuit. If you ever get a chance, visit Castle Halloween. It's fascinating, chaotic, and memorable.
