Hi. I'm guessing this lidded jar is Chinese and a decorative ginger jar made for export? I should stress the 'guess' part of that.

Any info or description is greatly appreciated. Thank you. 7C3747AF-5539-48E8-97DC-51B94C816047.jpeg B87C04A2-0D51-4359-AF28-BA8BDFA49C99.jpeg 7A8B8A43-16A0-4A6E-B291-25B4FE32DA78.jpeg 4CA8C947-1BE5-4185-A28B-E5837501CFD3.jpeg C2FDBF89-4943-4EC7-A5EE-9BAE15600B46.jpeg

Correct on both counts, the mark is for the emperor Jiaqing, but it is much later in date, probably 1950-70. The style is called rose medallion and the style of mark was common for items made in Macau at the time.

Is a Vintage so not antique since is not a real 19th century. Is a Chinese reproduction with the seal mark Great Qing dynasty, TongZhi era year made. Here are similar real stamp in red squared, apart from the 2 last one.

This is great information! Thank you for the similar stamps too--

I didn't think it was truly an antique, but I do like it and think it's quite pretty.
