First post here but looking for information on a couple of statues we got in on donation at Habitat for Humanity ReStore. Our vision is Everyone deserves an affordable place to call home. These two statues came in and are very heavy so I believe they are bronze. They are about 2 feet tall and 6 inches wide at the base. I can only find images of these as lamps but these are only statues. Any help is appreciated. L. F. Moreau, Paris, France. Look them up and you will find many, many pieces of their work. (Moreau family of sculptors.) Sorry I can't help with anything definite. They are beautiful.

I think the company that made them might be L & F Moreau. They could be bronze, but I don't know why someone would paint them if they were. They could also be spelter, but that is a much lighter metal.

the lamp part looks fixed to the woman's head...so these were not made as lamps...

I think they may be spelter and not bronze...

It is a VERY bad idea to list for sale and then do your research.
