    ok so what i know...
    S.Bent Bro. most likely Ash stained as oak. positive it's not maple the grain isn't right.
    found lot's of examples with round spindles.but not slatted like this.
    straight blade screws,so guessing 1900 ish. paper sticker rather than stamped or burnt on label.
    nice chair, some loose joint's doing some glueing repair.
    can anyone help me narrow down a better time period.
    i figure value is somewhere 2 to 6 hundred.

    so many way's to post things, trying to figure it all out when your not tech savvies is a real challenge.

    Not to worry. We are here to help. Your out of focus photo might be due to tiny movement of your hands. When you take a photo, don't hold your breath. Holding your breath will make your hands shake.
    Take the photo front on.
    Many new members have trouble uploading photos because they exceed the photo limit of 1MB. Here are some instructions on what to do.

    They relate to how to upload from a phone:
    Email your photo to yourself selecting size Medium. This will do the trick.

    If you are using a computer: Then depending on what type of computer you have you can resize them. If you have windows 10, download them and then go to the bottom where the folder is; find the photo in downloads. Click on it and then right click it. You should see a resize option. Good luck. we're help to help youOn my iMac, @cheersdeers recommends drag pics to desktop, double click on them, click on Tools and then Adjust Size by as much as half.
    When you post your pictures, please make sure you click on Insert as "Full Image" at the top of your pictures

    I believe I found a copy of the label he is trying to put up. I hope this helps the furniture people. If a number is on his label I don't know what that would be. s bent & brothers.jpg
