Mysterious vintage floating shelves....

I'm wondering if somebody can please help me to identify theses floating shelves. Manufacturer/designer and approximate vintage. Thank you !

Fear not, someone will/should check back at some point offering more help!!!! AND, WELCOME, Ed to ANTIQUERS!!! I myself haven't a clue what your "floating shelves" are, or if they are right side up or upside down!!! Sorry!!

form reminds me of bookshelves that were all the rage in the 80s.

 

That's funny : ) yeah I was surprised to find so many cat shelves during my search. My cat showed no interest...

You need to put carpet on them for your cats. They are really neat, but highly impractical I'm afraid. That's why you might not find anything. Not much of a market.

Thank you everybody! These 2 "shelves" that I have make no sense to me. They are very well crafted with fine birch inlays and all. They have that high quality Danish feel to them...

 

That was my sense too. Have you tried the Danish equivalent to Ebay - QXL.
