Dark green leaf plate partial mark held Id maker and age

I see a similar plate on e but it is slightly different and is listed as Majolica
Can anyone tell is this plate is majolica?
Can anyone make out the partial mark?
The plate is 7 7/8" diameter

 

It is majolica, the mark is Regal & Sanejouand.

It’s the names of two partners, Emile Regal and Jules Sanejouand.

 

I think they are asking about your name.

 

Ha! I thought they were asking because Sanejouand was unusual!

anundverkaufen is a play on the German words ankaufen=buying and verkaufen=selling. an-und-ver-kaufen. It was the name of a second hand shop owned by a wonderful Turkish woman friend of mine in Frankfurt Germany.
