I was going through the hoard in my bedroom..slow but surly. I found some art work I did as a teenager up to my 20's and 30's.

    Crayola tiger.
My 2nd DH was jealous of my 1st DH and had me remove my married name on the siggy. What a fool I was. DSCN2278.JPG I did this watercolor in the field while at June Lake. It had snowed and I was freezing.

I did this in my late teens, very cheezy but I was trying to find my niche DSCN2275.JPG ;)

This was yarn art but I got bored and never finished it like so many other hobbies I tried.:p

Father-son art video, one of only about five we did. I did the video, he did the musical score. He's thinking of doing another musical composition soon so I'll have to produce some video to accompany it. Wait a minute, isn't it s'posed to be the other way around?

On FB a gal ask me to play something to show I played guitar. My arthritic fingers messed it up but I posted it anyway.:p Since then I put on new strings as the others were old and sour. I need to limber my fingers and practice but you know how that goes,LOL  When I can play a better tune I will post. :cat:

Great S.O.S., thanks, enjoyed that. Having little of value to offer here personally, I'd like to link an audition by a neighbor (well, next town) which is really different-I found her whole "thing" very entertaining and interesting. 'Scuse me if you already caught it on TV, but I think I could listen to her for hours.

Shiloh, I just listened to your music, you're really good!
    I bow to your rusty!

I am currently working to rebuild callouses,
so I'm all, like, "Oh my fingers!" too! haha.

LOL, thanks anti...I really need to practice, then I will play something better ;) Yes I need callouses too, makes it a lot easier to play plus the groves on the finger tips fit the strings perfect ;)

With the current thread running about the paint party bad art, I thought I would show this here. I painted this in a few hours the other day for a friend of mine who wanted a backdrop for a shadowbox. This is the first time I have picked up a paint brush in several years. I don't know if it is good or if it is bad. Pics really don't do it justice. In particular, the clouds are more garish in the pic than in real life. I am fairly satisfied with it but it is somewhat different from my regular paintings (if I even have such a thing). ;) Should enlarge if you click on it.

Here are a couple paintings I did a few years ago. I think some of you may have seen them.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

Brad, yours are a good example of how an artist's signature can change.

I haven't produced enough art to have any regularity to my signature. The top one is for a friend so I used my third initial. It is also just signed in ball-point. The other two are much smaller works. This is why the signature seems more prominent. If I ever end up painting more, I am sure my signature will be come more regular ..... until I decide to change it. :woot:

Brad, those trees in the 2nd pic remind me of a dream I had a long time ago...took me back to the memory, was the best vivid dream I ever had. After I walked endlessly through similar trees I came across a "night beach" and it was so breath taking. I wish I could go back there. :cat:

Glad it was a good dream and not a nightmare. I have been told that my art is rather on the dark side. I just say " Yes it is." .... LOL! For some reason, I am attracted to paintings with a bit of dark mystery to them.

That painting evolved from this drawing that I did some time before.

I have always been drawn to the mysterious/dark side too, also the poems and songs I have written in the past are for the most part melancholy.

I LOVE af's song he posted called "The Lady of Shalott",also Lorena McKennit sings a real tear jerker,"Night Ride Across The Caucasus" :arghh::arghh:

Many years ago I painted a picture of an abondoned farm house with broken fencing with snapped barbed wire and a bunch of ravens. I labeled it "The Roost" and won 2nd place at a juried art show. My ex BF still has it and I never got it back  Love the spider web drawing.

I missed this thread... it's from when I was dealing with medical issues and didn't post. I'm going to go through the thread from the beginning, and I'm sure I'm going to enjoy it.
