I am not so sure, with those turquoises. The turquoise on my Fred Harvey era pieces is of a more 'classical' type.
    But it certainly has age.

    @ billyd3us

Put a small drop of water on the top of one of the stones and see what happens.

What happens to the drop of water .... does it just stay there as a drop, run off or get soaked into the stone as a sponge would.

Hi Holly, I just tried that test on all 3 stones, the drop stays there.

Most likely it is resin stabilized and made sometime after the mid 70's. Not sure what your research showed you, there is nothing to say a Native American actually made the piece.

Thank You komokwa. I keep looking at the twisted wires and see some coming apart, to me it looks old. When I look close with my eye loupe, I see lot's of age, about 50-70 years or so. I could be wrong though. Thanks again for your input

The twisted wires appear to be a commercial foxtail chain ,hard to date since they have been around for at least 60 years and still sold today. No one can tell age by looking a a piece,it depends on how it was taken care of by the person who owned it.

That water thing really is meaningless. I have VERY old turquoise set in British hallmarked silver which "fails" it.

I don't have this thing in my hand, obviously, but the look, quality and colour are all there. You can't say it's NA, but I'm with komo and the rest on this.

I agree, untreated turquoise can absorb grease over the years and fail the test.

From the choice of turquoise and the fact that the stones are well matched, together with the look of the silver, makes me think 1970s.
The style is certainly Navajo, and it could well be Navajo made. We just don't know.
