Picasso Copies Arab Signature

Is the signature in Arabic? Can’t find a match for the first painting?

 

I cant help but I love them !

 

I’m just trying to find out if they may worth a bit of something or just hang them on my wall. They are just copies so unless the artist is known...

 

Not necessarily, the date is in 'our' script. Whoever signed them looks like he/she had fun painting them.
Going by the dress of the first one, particularly the women with trousers and long headshawls, I would say the origin is the northern part of the Indian subcontinent, regions where they wear the churidar and shalwar kameez. Churidar and shalwar are different styles of trousers, kameez is the shirt/dress.

Any Jewelry, the date is not in “our” numerals but rather what are commonly known as “Arabic” or Hindu-Arabic numerals.

 

I’ve been told that the signature reads Munir or Mounir. A bunch of artists by that name by I doubt this one is famous if doing copies.
The canvas is bright yellow color, have you seen one like it?

 

Found a Syrian artist Mounir Alied. Some of his works definitely Picasso inspired. Seems like he does art on commissions as well.
