Should I buy?

    I have a chance to purchase this Jaeger-LeCoultre vintage watch for $1850 for my husband's birthday. He is a vintage watch guy and I want to get him something special but not get taken. Advice?

    Only if its a reputable dealer. If its Craigslist or Ebay,hard pass.Gorgeous watch!

    An ebayer in Malta got $1390. for the one above....

    None that I could find....
    are missing the Swiss..or Swiss made...at the bottom of the face...
    & none have the dots around the outer edge...

    That said..........good luck......I'm not a watch expert..! :rolleyes:
