Found this print at the local goodwill. For $4 I couldn't resist it. Although I know the artist name, print name etc......I am unable to find it online ANYWHERE I have searched. The Print is an Embossed Watercolor by Alaskan Artist Marianne Wieland. It is called "There's a moose at the mailbox!" It appears to be an Artist proof (#11). I know she is still living and making prints and if anybody here can't help, I may look for an eMail for her and ask about it. I wanted to give it a shot through first. Thank you all for your help!

It is gorgeous Bdigger, and of course you had to have it, with the mailboxes.:)
Emailing her would be a good idea, I think.

I was just looking to see if this was ever sold or listed online, edition size, maybe a year it was made. I found it odd that I couldn't come up with another copy of this anywhere.

Gotcha. I did not see it anywhere, either, so I think contacting her is a good plan!

I did find several other Meese, so she does not only do religious themes, unless there's a parable I missed.

There is a Marianne Kelly Wieland on Facebook, maybe daughter. Think the church, since they are essentially her dealer, is the place to start.

Cool print. :) Between the image and the caption, she seems to have a fun sense of humor.

I have several Marianne Weiland Prints. She is local in Anchorage. She has an annual print that she releases for the church I believe but she has many other works from what I can tell. The prints I have purchased were framed and priced around $40-100 per piece. Hope you enjoy her work she is one of my favorite Alaskan artist and $4 is a steal for one of her prints.

Looking at Ebay, I think you scored on aquiring that print for $4. Some signed prints on that site are up to $400. Is it in good condition?

It's a beautiful print. I agree, you should contact the artist. I was fortunate to find a beautiful gold gilt lithograph french scene by the American Susan Hartenhoff who is know for her animal paintings. Could not locate anything on it to ID the name and due to the large size did not want to take it apart. I contacted her and she provided me all the information on my art work. Turned out it was done while she was apprenticing for her Lithograph sponsor so they actually owned the work and had the printing run, but she did not know the amount of the run. I now can date it, have her story on what she named, the story on what prompted her to paint it, and now follow her on Facebook.
