Featured Glass vase colors technique, is it 'drip' ?

    Hi Everyone !
    I have this vase and was wondering what you call the technique that was used ? Is there a particular name for it (I'm sure there is).TIA !

    I know its called Reuven glass,but I couldnt tell you how they do it. :)

    I believe the coloring is done by dissolving stains in alcohol, then applying them to the hot glass. Reuven was the 'decorator', possibly the manufacturer.

    Thanks again ! Now that I know the name I was able to find matching pieces. I picked this up because it's my bedroom colors and now I can add to it :)

    Rueven (Robert (Rueven) Brown) Art Glass is an American company in New Jersey. I've read he may have studied with Ilanit, Olamtov Jerusalem. This does look more like Rueven's, as I don't see the drips in Ilanit pieces.

    I also see that "R" has a Rueven line by Nouveau Art Glass:

    Tallcakes, I've seen a fair bit of Israeli glass here with those drips. Usually some kind of generic label. I don't know whether we get Rueven here.

    Interesting discussion, that's why I love this forum.
    Komokwa, the main colors in my room are mauve and blue with a bit of creamy yellow. :yawn:
