    I think this is by Andrew Hill and I love it!

    I'm not sure this is Andrew Hill; his pieces look a lot more polished than this, which I'd guess is by an unknown studio potter. But for comparison, here are some Andrew Hill signatures, which look quite similar but perhaps not the same.
