    Not much to brag about lately. Sales have been really slow in Broward county Fl. I found this colorful Adam Jablonski handkerchief bowl for $1. That was my "big" find of the week. :arghh:

    (re: pickle dishes from circa 1800)...and rarely to never seen in the United States. I've been keeping my eyes peeled (fruitlessly of course) for hand-made British glass here, especially Bristol blue. Good score!

    Here are a few items I picked up recently, my favourite are the candle sticks, they came from a local church that was doing upgrades/renovations and sold off a bunch of stuff. The creepiest light up Santa I own, jellyfish that glows paperweight, 3 aluminum Christmas trees, 1 regular and 2 pom-poms, some sort of stone scarab paperweight souvenir

    Jivvy, the earrings will be worn, with adaptors. They're really unusual: the colour isn't enamel, it's sort of stained silver. A whole five dollars. ;)

    Had a pretty good day at the thrifts today.

    The best find of the lot was the beautiful quadriptych paintings by Ulrich Schwanecke. Got all of the paintings for only R120 (less than 7.5 USD)

    NO!!!!! SOMETIMES THE DIGITAL WORLD CAN BE A REAL "PITA"!!! Bronwen, what program are you running it with.......although from what I'm reading that doesn't seem to be the problem.......AND I just saw that you already said.....onboard PAINT prog?
