Featured Help with Mark please

I was wondering if anyone had any knowledge about this mark or even the frame. Thank you for your time and knowledge.

 

Nice frame, johnett! With sterling impressed, I would think US, but that mark is tough to see in detail and isn't ringing any bells. Any chance you can get a closer pic of just the head? I'm thinking it might have been imported.

 

From what I can see it kind of looks like a woman's head....facing right!
I think......could also be a man's.....

 

It is a hard pic to get but hopefully it will help it looks like a side view of a man’s head

I keep looking, but wonder whether the back might hold a clue or 2. Can we see it?

The only outside chance I can think of is French but if this is a French "Minerva head" guaranty mark, there really should be other mark(s) too. And unless it was very early (thinking unlikely but possible) if it was intended for import to the US, it should have something like "made in France" on it somewhere. Is there anything elsewhere - like inside other spots like the one shown?

 

Sorry it to me a bit to get back looked over ever little spot on the frame no other marks
