Featured Cushman Colonial Furniture Date of production?

In looking for information on my table I ran across your name as the expert. I have a “utility table” which appears to be early but from your description above, I still don’t understand the dating. I will post a pic of the metal tag. Thank you very much!

 

The first number '4' indicates the year 1934 which is the year the piece was introduced. '187' is a Cushman model number. That's a tag Cushman used in the 30's.

There was one piece separated from the rest and is now gone. Chairs have round metal tag with numbers 4-24 and 4-24A. The table is 7030. The hutch is 9022. The pieces have been used since purchase in one home or another and are well worn. I would like to have them refinished. Can someone please tell me about the years and dates of these pieces. I would be grateful. Thanks

Those model numbers indicate being introduced 1934 to 1939. Some of these pieces they continued to produce into the 50s. That brass oval name tag was introduced in 1946 & used until 1964.

 

Thank you. Those pieces would have been purchased most likely in the late forties from the family stories. I sat at them when I was a young child in the 70s and can remember them from around age 3 or 4. So that would be close since the timeframes are indicated by the metal tags. Much appreciated. Thanks for sharing the knowledge.

That number seems late, 1960's ? Picture of chair & tag will help.

#5430 is listed as 'Longmeadow table' produced from 1954-59.

I have 4 dining chairs in great condition. I'm looking for information about them. They are Cushman with oval, brass tags. The number imprinted is 7031. Could anyone provide any info?

#7031 is the 'Bandywine Manner side chair, introduced in 1937 and produced until 1964. Oval brass tags were used 1946-64.

 

I have a question about a piece that was owned by my grandparents. I am wondering when it was made and how much it is worth. Any help is greatly appreciated.
