    When I see that here, it's generally lucite. The beads it's on with are nickel, so that increases the odds the beads are pure costume.

    I'm with Ruth on this. Lucite/plastic with those swirls.

    Grab yourself some Simichrome, you'll always be able to test for Bakelite
