Nope, just wiggled it around a bit. It's more of a blob indoors.

A bit pricey at my thrift shop, the woman said she Googled and couldn't find any info on it...$24. I come from a Navy family, and I love this.

This was $3, four-strand silver freshwater pearls.

All the Memorial Day yard sales were rained out, as was an outdoor antique show....

Folk are giving away Chinese antiques this week.

First is an export brooch for £4.
    Foo dogs were £1.50 each
    Serving platter for £5
Celadon planter £40...some people insist on haggling
    Vase was £10

If you can help with the vase or planter I have threads in the porcelain forum with more pics.

The celadon looks like an ikebana "vase" and that export piece is carved turquoise. For about sixty quid for the pile I'd say you came out on top!

Some kind of pedal carousel, marked joyrider. I don’t know age or value but kids love it and great value at no charge.

Hanging around here surely pays off. I listen and learn. I bought this without knowing what it was. It took a while to figure out Herend. I paid with my discount $3.75.

    Awesome find.
I wonder sometimes who are these people who throw these things out after having purchased them at such expense........

For some people, it's a meaningless amount of money, and therefore, the things they buy have far less meaning.

It also could be a matter of the children clearing the house of all the "clutter" having not the first clue as to what the items are or how valuable they may be.

However, it turned out great for @KikoBlueEyes! :D:D I am shocked that the shop would have put such a low price on it though but again it turned out good for one of ours. :D:D
