Do be very careful when you do that, just in case you want to sell the pictures back inside.

Love the album and the children! ARe there seals on the edge of the album?

Are the seals you are asking about the stamping to create a design on the edge? If so , I will try and get some good pictures of that tomorrow in a better light.

Yup, love that quick cash flip and when he came to pick it up he ended up buying a painting for another $300. A large one behind glass that I dreaded having to ship. :)

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

Nice album -- appears to be in pretty good condition, too!

So I tried once for some better pictures of the edging to no avail. No words though. Just a floral design pressed in.

More stuff for the ever growing hoard. The brooch has now had a new pin added by Himself. The bag is late 19th, silk shattered to heck, but still a lovely thing. Faux pearls, but with real haemetite.

Oh, and pickle dishes. Rather battered, but so would you be if you were about 220 years old or more.

Isn't it fab? There's also some original jet beads. I reckon the frame alone is worth more than the ten dollars I paid. ;)

I am very fond of pickle dishes. They're one of those sort of purist antiques, if that makes sense. All about real history, and age and how people lived in the late 18th century.
