    This is a small model. It's really pretty good. I don't know what it's a model of or where it came from. Can anyone help? 1.jpg

    It's a mosque, or a simplified version of a mosque. Probably based on a specific one, but doesn't seem like a match for the obvious ones. Not the Taj Mahal. Think a minaret is missing?

    Yes. A mosque. I'm going to say Russian made and it was on a base of marble at one time. And, yes, a minaret may be missing too.

    It looks like a Turkish style mosque, so my guess is Turkish made.
    Most Turkish mosques are loosely based on the Hagia Sophia, originally a Byzantine church, turned into a mosque in the 15th century, and added to.
