Within a large lot I bought, did I notice this "candy box"?
It has the .800 mark but there are also other engravings that believe important.
Can you tell me if it's solid silver 800?
I've already done the silver test with the kit and the color changes to bright red.
You will understand that, when dealing with 479 grams, it is fundamental for me to understand if this is a silver plated element, or a solid silver 800 in front of me.

Thank you all for your answers and for giving me the chance to LEARN

If then I can take advantage of your experience and if it is possible, I would also like to attribute a dating to this element. Thanks again.

    Diameter is cm 17
    Weight : grams 479

Yes, that's a good Italian hallmark

Looks like the real deal to me. I don't see any signs of it being plated, and given the hallmarks, the positive test...I'd consider it real.

200 is likely the maker's pattern number

    Fi is Firenza

1254 is a number assigned to the maker by the assayer

    or something like that

The 200 is probably a model number, .800 silver fineness, and the other is a maker's identification number from the city of Firenze, aka Florence. It was sold in Naples according to the paper label. It's a post-1968 mark; beyond that you've got me.

Just checking on line, I saw that the label on the bottom of your lovely piece is from a high-end retail silver store in Naples:

    Argenterie (Argenteria) Cremiato
    Vico dei Costanzi 13
    80133 Naples
    Italy
