And a possible age. Much appreciated

    What's left of the band of decoration around the middle of the pot looks very much like the Blue Willow design (a transfer pattern from England.) I've never seen such fading and blurring on transferware, but perhaps one of our UK members has?

    I'd say English - and I've seen faded looking transferware. Mid 19th ish and it's had a hard life, poor little pot!

    Not sure why but shape of pot is niggling me and the wear doesnt look quite right.

    But have had a hard day and it may just be me!

    European, probably English.
    It looks like it should be sitting in something else. Maybe something to keep it hot?
