Wedgwood Pendant

I hope this is okay to post here, as I don’t think it quite qualifies as antique..

I have this fairly large Wedgwood pendant. I am sure it is genuine as it has the features we look for. I am having issues trying to date it. On the back, it says W68. From what I have researched, this means 1968. Can anyone confirm I am correct please? Also, what does the ‘W’ mean?

It also says ‘Silver FAW’ on the silver surrounding which I understand to be the jeweller F A Welch who set the cameos for Wedgwood between 1950s and 1970s.

Could we see a good clear photo of the silver hallmarks, please?

EDIT: Never mind, I see your pendant is one of the ones that doesn't have full hallmarking, and therefore won't include a date mark.

It does seem that the general consensus is the impressed number is the year.

Yup, 68 is 1968. Smalls were often not hallmarked.
