    Notation on back looks like Greenslip to me. Name of owner who left it to be framed by Tuesday? Signature on the face of the painting does appear to be Churchill.

    The Slip is the thinner inner piece of wood inside the main frame.
    It seems Winston Churchill rarely signed his paintings and when he did it was just with his initials.
