Any idea what age this leather purse is?

Hello all. Picked this purse up recently, it's not in the best shape but couldn't leave it behind! It is 11.5"L x 9"H, calf leather I think. Dark brown, gold tone hardware. The zipper inside says "Made in Gt Britain". I always think 60s for these purses but is there a way to tell if they are any older than that? Thanks!

Yes it is gold, it has only worn in a few spots!

 

That style went on to the early 70s. Zip compartment like that is usually a bit later, ime.

I'd get some saddle soap on that.
