Featured I wish we knew more about our settee

The set has been in the family for about 40 years. Was picked up at a estate sale. Thank you for your input, opinions, and help.

    The settee clearly is part of the suite. I am not sure why you have doubts. As to manufacture from what I see I'd say early to mid twenty century, when many of these Louis XV meets Biedermeier were re-introduced. It was quality furniture for the subdued taste of the post-gilded age (not everybody embraced art deco)

    Late parlor set with hardwood trim. Agree on the early to mid-twentieth century date. Better quality than most new furniture.
