I'd bring him in anyway, if coyotes are a problem. If only until you can find him a forever home.

@johnnycb09 The green vase looks Finnish, maybe Riihimaki, I took a quick scroll through google but didn’t see it.

I had a lot of fun finds last week. This Guanyin sculpture measures at 40" tall.

This one I think is a Japanese Guanyin on a carp wood carved with polychrome. Measures right at 24" high.

This room divider is huge and just amazing. Weighs a lot too. Was really happy to find this. My wife has wanted one for years.

Not sure where she will place it permanently , but it has a home in the corner of the bedroom for now.

This Yemen Jambia just had to come home with me. It has seen a lot of wear over the years and been repaired a few times , but it was loved a lot and it is loved again!

    Thank you,
My wife was thrilled to see that thing when she walked through the door. She wanted a nice one for years and years.

So... being a gadget lover, I now have the technology (usb microscope) to show pics of the "pencil" portion on that print I picked up.

If you don't recall, the pencil bits weren't pencil at all.

The microscope is so cool. :woot: The oh-so-intentionally-misleading pencil bits? Less cool. :hilarious:

Colorful dots are usually a bad sign. But on the bright side , a new toy that is powerful enough to show you those dots on a quick inspection is a good thing.

Exactly! The print is so small and my eyes are so old, I couldn't see the dots with a loupe, but I put it under my standard microscope and there they were... which made me think, "what if I could take a microscope with me everywhere I went?"

And I can. And it's awesome. bwahahahaha.

Thanks CX, she was in among several other figurines and wasnt catalogued so the lot went cheaply.

You can read about Ruth (and Albany for whom this figurine was designed) at the Museum of Royal Worcester
