If I were taking a random guess I'd call it Turkish; they're smack in the middle of what everyone else was talking about. Istanbul has been a trade hub for over a thousand years and stuff came through from all directions. It wouldn't surprise me to find Indo-persian dangles on an Italian style anchor chain with Turkish markings.

The Turkish also copy as many styles as the Thai do. 'Native American', different Asian ethnic styles, etc. Nice quality, good silver content, but totally fake.

I wouldn't call it fake per se, unless they fake the marks too. More like "borrowed". :)

Others call it Peruzzi style, after a famous Florentine jewellers shop.

That could be it, not necessarily Peruzzi made, but in the style of.

As I said in an earlier post, Italy manufactured a lot of Orientalist jewellery. Especially Florence, so I would go with Italian (Florentine?) Orientalist.
Probably 1960s, like those gorgeous gold charm bracelets with big, gem-studded charms I mentioned before.
Feast your eyes on these :

    Thank you,
I was leaning toward the Peruzzi style ones from Italy. :)
(I will never figure out how to include a Quote :bucktooth:)

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

You just hit Reply and a quote is included automatically. Now, multiple quotes from different people are another story! :)

I normally do that, I was more trying to understand when you hit “quote” as to just get a part of it. I’ll just continue this way. :)

I had to be taught this too.
    • Highlight the section you want
    • Select 'Quote' from the bubble that appears below
    • You get a message saying text has been added to 'Multi-quote'
    • Do this to as many passages as you want to include in your post
    • When you're ready to write, below the text box on the left, you'll see a button for adding quotes. Clicking will give you options for deleting or changing order, then adding.
    • You don't have to leave multiple quotes in a block at the top; you can insert your own text between if wanted.
