California landscape O/C by J. Waters

    This painting kind of reminds me of a California area, not to sure though. I wonder if this painting is by Johnny Waters, I could be wrong. Anybody have an idea who it might be ?

    Does look California-ish. But that red clay soil I always equate with México.

    That's a possibility. If the Sonoran desert, would expect cacti.

    If it is Australian, the tree would be a gum tree, the bush on the right an Australian wattle, the little shrubs spinifex.
    I am getting homesick now.
