Every antique forum should have a place for dolls. :)

I have many, but for now, here is my 1964 Patti Playpal:

@BoudicaJones has an amazing collection of UK Sindy dolls.

Can someone tag Bou, mine didn't come out as a tag?

    Edit:
Never mind, I posted a link to this one in her last thread.

What a FABULOUS thread! Thank you for the tag INH and the one in my lovely mask thread,my AJ!

    GORGEOUS girl, @bedtime.
I had a Canadian Patti clone a few years ago but I sold her. Don't see many of them here.I got the clone from a booty and I was not used to the size...!!!
I prefer smaller dollies so I can get more in. I have fashion dollies literally EVERYWHERE

This is one of my girls. a 1967 New Look Sidepart Sindy with a haircut! I could give her new hair but I love her just as is.

Whilst I'm here I'll show some of my girls. I have ... many.

As I mentioned my main Thing is vintage fashion dolls as I love vintage clothes and Sindy (who is my main collection) had some LOVELY items I wish I could have Bou-sized. Sindy is much less glam than ole Barbie and I think the look is easier to achieve :D so I try to look as Sindy like as possible irl.
( friend Jody says I am the living embodiment of Sinders and I DO believe every Sindy in the world should belong to ME and does, spiritually :D )
But here are some non Sindy girls of mine.
I only have old pics and am not gifted in the pic taking dept (or in fact any dept.)
My daughter dressed them and I can't change it now. She was into dollies then, now much more 'trested in boiss. Sigh
All of them have original hair except the blue which I rerooted.
Vintage second and third Gen Japanese Licca-Chan dolls, the blonde one is 2rd Gen Izumi .
These are lovely little things ( about 8 inches) and can be hard to find in England so I got 'em from the net. I scoured listings daily as I am Tight and will never ever pay what I should.
Not actively into collecting dollies atm, have loads of gaps but am happy to just have them xxxx

Sorry for the spam, just found some old pics **WARNING I HAVE PLENTY MORE** but will go 'way for a while after this post!

I LOVE THESE Sekiguchi Printemps !!! Only managed to get two but they are hard to locate outside Japan and I got mine ( cheaply) from eBay as I Am Mega Tight.
Their eyes ( can't see in my rubbish pic) are magical.
They are quite tall, about 18 inches, so much bigger than I am used to. Very htf and SO beautiful.
I know even less about these than I normally do but I do know I luvvem. The pink one has original dress, other has original boots [IMG]

    @Cynthiaturvey............

I'm curious to know of what the face is made of....... blond doll in the tan dress. The style is similar to Parian,(or china head) but perplexed by what looks like discoloration?

Thank you Judy! I do love my girls, must say xxx
( I do have one solitary boy,a vintage Action Man. I don't get the vibe from boy dolls as well as I do from girlios )

    I'd love one.
My girls though have to deal with dogs n cats n a certain amount of neglect so fashion dolls are a lot more forgiving than antique xx

Not sure if you are trying to make me jealous, but it's certainly working. I <3 the 60s, but I don't have any 60s fashion dolls like this. I bet she's worth quite a bit even with her cute haircut. Amazing dress, too! The dress itself will fetch money.

    ...

Next doll in my collection is a 1986 Talking Cricket doll. She's not an antique, but she is a collectable item:

    WARNING: High cuteness factor!!!

(Go to 1:40 to hear her sing a song )

I should note that the video posted above is not mine.

Thank you for your lovely words, bedtime <3
I am fanatical about Sindy's clothes, I usually only let 'em wear genuine Pedigree items and Sindy's dress above is handmade but I thought it suited her :D

The '67 Sindy I posted above is probably worth approx £100 as she is.

Your Cricket is divine. If mine looked like that I'd like em a lot more :O
( I have a couple of Crickets here, both in need of attention, that I picked up at booties. I didn't even want them  ... I can't leave dollies if I see them in the wild and have to bring them home. I'll sell 'em on one day but they need work, and I have so MUCH to do and they aren't a priority. Could do with the space though for MORE fashion dollies! xxx)

My friend wrote a Sindy clothing book and my items are on the front and my Sindy Skaters are inside ... fame at last!

I must confess,I am a right Dolly 'Ho. Real fashion doll victim. I collect Sindy. Blythe,Daisy, Tressy, Pippa, vintage Japanese fashion dolls,a few antique dolls...some clone dolls, a few vintage Barbies ... and more I have forgotten

This is about the same era as my 67 Sindy above, a TnT Barbie rerooted by me xx
