Clock case origin ?

    It reminds me of Norwegian 'rosemaling', floral painting.
    Beautifully detailed, more so than most rosemaling you see. In that sense it is almost antique Dutch, like antique Hindeloopen or Assendelfts.
    @DragonflyWink will be able to tell us if I am on the right track.;)

    Rosemaling is thought to have been introduced to Norway by migrant workers who returned from Dutch employment in the 17th century, hence the similarities.
