I doubt these are actually "old" and appear to be glass confabulation.

I also think these are fantasy items. Olibanum Vulgare (Frankinscense) is usually found as an oil. I don't think that would be the best container. It also would be difficult to tell how much you had left in a dark glass container like these.

Thanks, I’ll take the French lead.

To me they look like decorator items.

They are not new. They are at least 2 yrs. old.

Seriously, how do you get so much bottom wear if they are new.
I just don’t get why everyone thinks they are not old.

Artificial wear. As others have said, apothecary bottles need to have visibility of the contents.

For me, it's just the fact I can't imagine anyone using them as they are labeled. As I mentioned above, I can't figure out how you would store Frankinscense in that bottle. They seem more appropriate for something like bath salts than herbs.

I'm sorry, you must have mistyped. Semen Plantaginis is a Chinese medicinal herb derived from the seeds of a plantain. I didn't mention it because, unlike Frankinscense, it is a solid at least. Like so many things on the web, a misspelling can lead you into all kinds of mischief. :shame:
