Look like #1 possibly #2 proof marks. Other big collectors tell me its #1. Also somebody engraved 1724 on butt.

    Seems like the pictures were taken with flash in a darker environment. Better to take pics under LED lights to showcase the details and then closeups with any markings on the pistol/firing mechanism

    It has English proof marks though. We think it was a French maker that relocated to England possibly.

    has the trigger guard been replaced at some point? would you be able to do more pics in better light please?
