fake tiffany silver?

So where did you get the one you attached? A different listing? It's not what I see when I click to enlarge the one on the listing you linked.

For future reference, it would be appreciated, if you are comparing 2 different things, to say so in your post.

 

The bottom of the base on the liveactioneers link looks like it had a bad repair with excess solder all over,the top of the base also looks "funky".

 

I opened your attachment, enlarged & enhanced the contrast on it & stuck it up. What other picture?

I kept looking & looking because I thought if you saw it, it had to be there.

 

The stamps in post 21 are misaligned from the sterling stamp in 2 different directions, something that normally wouldn't pass inspection at Tiffany's.

 

When comment #20, quoted, was made, the only one that had been pasted was the one I pasted. There was no indication that second photo, which is on next page, was to follow. I see now what was meant. Thanks.

 

here are 4, same flower but different style, for the same price as the 2 in the O/P.

It's an upside down picture, but it looks like everything is there. Note that this one is for a set of 4! not a pair.

 

Everything is there but they’re a mess, maybe because it’s stamped in a concave section but I wouldn’t buy them.

Yes. The markings are carved like elemetry student's handwriting.

 

However, it is very strange. I found that one is also auctioned in liveauctioneer.
High light: IN ADDITION: that piece is claimed to be origionally from christie's. I am wondering if that is true.
