    deco1.jpg deco2.jpg deco3.jpg deco4.jpg deco5.jpg deco6.jpg deco7.jpg deco8.jpg deco9.jpg deco10.jpg Would this be a model or a statue, measures 16-3/4"W x 13-3/4"D x 14-1/2"H. Unsigned, very heavy, all solid wood boards. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I wonder why it needs that little eye screw on the peak of the roof at the back?

It has wires from the bottom of the as well to hang or attach to something.

It has a modern look, but also feels very primitive, possibly related to santos and church tableau that have been around for awhile.

I'm very attracted to this kind of object. Very nice

For hanging on the wall, hang on both bottom wires and anchor using the ete sceew hole.

    ? Yes, to hang.

Can't quite read your text, but still *feel* it's one part of an old religious tableau. Lovely. Where did it come from?

Is the front painted in trompe l'oeil fashion, making that side appear more elaborate than it really is?

The single eye screw does not look adequate to support the weight by itself.

Maybe the other way around as a wall plinth/whatchamacallit for a statue? That way the shapes on either side of the centre look like church windows.

Weight on the bottom wires eye hole is top anchor.

Or I could be wrong, maybe it is like Jewel says, a wall plinth.
