Featured Trash or Treasure?

    Van Amstel co. Seems to have sold seriagraph prints.

    I don’t find anything for that # so far. Since you don’t know if the prior owners used a different frame it’s possible. Is the painting signed from what you can tell.

  8. I don't see a signature I see what appears to be a letter D in cursive?
    It's odd I can only see the picture if i stand in front of it if you are to the side of it you see only black.

    I think it’s charming and you like it, so it’s a treasure. I don’t like to suggest to remove it from frame to look for a signature that may not be there. That is at your discretion.

    It was mentioned that the gallery often sold serigraph prints. That might be what this is. It's hard to tell from the photos. This has a 1960s or 1970s look, to me. (Others may have different thoughts.) Serigraphs are a type of silkscreen print.

    I like it, too! The color scheme seems a bit unusual for the subject. This type of thing is often more colorful.
