Statue silvered or silver by

Another find this statue silvered or silver with a mark .Heavy piece . Anybody any idea off origin and maker ? thanks

 

Probably way off,but I thought it looks like an Alberto Giacometti sculpture.

 

Not to be combative but it looks nothing like a Giacometti.

 

Nobody any idea about the mark and style off the ornament ?

 

Just because I like to look at stuff, it would be nice to have one photo that captures the entire piece from the front... and with a less busy background.

But I don't think it would help with identification. My WAG would be "from the 1990s", but there's really no substance behind that.

 

Not likely to be solid silver. Could be chrome plated. And not Giacometti.

 

What is it supposed to be ?? I can't make head nor tails of it !! ... Joy.

 

Is it a figure balancing precariously on a log ?? .. Joy.

So much nicer, thank you for the pics. I still don't have much of a clue -- that signature is a puzzle -- but I do find myself wondering if there is a missing piece... something that used to rest in that base.

 

Is it possible this was meant to hold something upright? In the new pix it looks to me like it might be functional as well as decorative. If you slid something stiff enough to stand on its edge into that trough, would the bend leading to the figure hold it there?

 

Maybe Steve Jobs old Iphone+ holder so very priceless object now ?
