Hello thanks for looking picked up a pair of lamps and took off the figures to clean them. Was wondering if the mark on the base could indicate they are by Bernard Bloch. I believe it is a ink mark, figures are about 5" tall. Regards Joe IMG_3627.JPG IMG_3623.JPG IMG_3624.JPG IMG_3626.JPG IMG_3627.JPG

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

@i need help, could/would it be around the outside edge of the bases??? Or just underneath??

More in the center, I would think. Bernard Bloch made mainly comedic tobacco jars and amphora vases from what little I know.

Maybe @bogtrotten can clarify, if you mean the colored mark in the center, can you show a close up.
Or do you mean the BB written on the edge?

Maybe it says GE here? For Germany. I think more photos would help. 93D5654E-FE23-4B6B-86BA-100BF0119550.jpeg

Thanks all no markings on the base edge, also after some cleaning what is showing in the center is only some residue or dirt.

I’d guess Italian, toleware might be a good search term for the lamp. But others here might have better suggestions.

No marks on the base, only marking are on the porcelain sockets, three different mfg bryant, ge, arrow all US makers.

Also this lamp is made of bronze components fused together, no casting. That
may give a clue but could not find much on that situation. Thanks again for your replies.
