Hello, I have what I believe to be an unusual lead pencil with magnets inside. I have attached some pictures and if anyone can provide me with some information, it would be much appreciated. Thank you. RJ

Wondering what the magnets were for, but I guess they were supposed to be strong enough to be attracted to the interior metal frame of a rotary phone, so the pencil would stick to the phone and always be available.
Good for fishing out pins in sewing work too. Or pins on the effing rug, where I usually find them the hard way!
