Hi Everyone. Would anyone be able to help me identify what this is? It's a sterling silver safety pin with a design on the length of it. It is about 1 7/8 long X 1/4" wide and about 1/16" thick. I found it buried pretty deep in the ground. It would have been lost around 1920. Any help is really appreciated. Found in Harmony, PA.

A little diaper pin, I'd think.

Common baby gift, often engraved or monogramed.

I wonder which is better, being born with a silver spoon in your mouth or having your nappies held up by a sterling silver diaper pin? ;) :playful::playful: :rolleyes::rolleyes: :hilarious::hilarious::hilarious:

Might have been a lingerie pin too, but it looks like a diaper pin. Someone was changing a nappy and off it flew, never to be seen again until a metal detector found it.
