the ones with stones and different acids are better than the electric ones. but try it first with an item you know what it is - to get a feeling for the process.

This brain/nerve damaged person agrees.;) I always dread going up or down stairs without a railing. If the video is meant to be an illustration of a supposed lack of mental capacity, I am a total idiot.:D:cool:
Btw, the tall dark-haired man talking to Juncker towards the end of the video is our Dutch PM.

The most important thing is, never put the liquid directly onto the metal, but scratch the silver on the stone and put the liquid on the stripe on the stone.
The directions are given in the thread I gave before. It may have gotten lost somewhere between scammers and EU politics (related),;) so here it is again:

the official EC-newspeak is that he has a problem with his blood sugar values. the inofficial rumours have it that he has no values at all but needs at least a bottle of cognac and some bottles of wine to keep him "going"...
is Wilders coloring his hair dark now ?:wacky:

    Hello all,
I'm really new here, i would like to post some questions if possible
About my shopping next Rome auction houses of June and July i bought this Salha but also large ancient Satsuma vases, old porcelain dolls, bronze Centerpiece, big Indian Batiks, polychrome Indonesian carved wood panels, big copper medals, old porcelain plates, old mirrors, jewelry, old bronze sculptures, etc.
Many of these items need identification and dating.

Can I post them one by one next appropriate categories of this forum ?

Will i find you all also in the other categories?

With which frequency can i post a new thread,, respecting the space of others? One per week ?

Thanks you all for the replies

    Gianluca

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

Yes, it would be good to post separately in appropriate forums here. Many of us check all of the forums. There are probably a few people who only check the forums that are of most interest to them, also. But you should get many views in all of the forums here.

You mention some fields I am interested in, so you will probably see me around when you post those items.;) I am looking forward.:)

    What do you think ?
Acid is dark yellow in the bottle, and after i put it over the silver,
I can see that it changed soon color, a dark red without flash and a brightness red with flash .

You always have to look at it in daylight, a flash changes the colour. I always look at the drop sideways, in front of a window.
But it changed colour from yellow to red, so it is silver, as it says on the bottle.;) And as I would expect from an item like this.
If it was blood red in daylight it is sterling (.925) or close to it. Lower finenesses can give a brownish red. Older Libyan silver, and old Berber silver in general, is usually .800-.900 fineness.

Yes, it's a blood red in the daylight :)

I'm so happy about it, so it should be .900 i guess .
Thanks so much for your reply, finally i can resell it :-D
