Featured Cute Little Fella...What Is He?

    Hi all!

    This little guy has me stumped. Figure is about two inches high and made of what appears to be porcelain. I think he is Japanese but I can't figure out what he is. Need your help.

    Little guy sure seems happy and I could not pass him up at the thrift store for a whopping 99 cents (broke the bank with this one ).

    Hi Chiquita - looks like a happy Japanese monkey or maybe a little bear bringing prosperity?

    I'm sure it is Japanese.
    He has a fan marked "fortune" in one hand, and a pile of food in the other hand. He is also wearing traditional shrine costume. I bet he was sold around new years day of a year of monkey.
