One of my girlfriends gave me this about 5 months ago, now I am wondering if anyone knows which family member of the Gachupin's made this.
By the way the bottom signature is somewhat faded, I would say it's from an older family member but I am not 100% sure, anyone know who ?

    Thank You 005.JPG 006.JPG 008.JPG

Gregory Schaaf lists over 45 potters with the surname Gachupin, in his book Southern Pueblo Pottery, 2000 Artist Biographies. Not all are related. Some are from Zia, some Jemez. It's a fairly common last name in both tribes.

He doesn't say who signs simply "Gachupin," so it may not be easy to determine who made this. But the clay, the form, and the style is Jemez, circa 1990s or newer.
