Hello Board Friends! I have two EAPG pieces this time. Both are trays (bun or bready trays?) but I haven't had much luck locating the pattern. The first tray has a fine diamond pattern and measures 11 3/4" long and 5 1/4" wide. The second tray measures 10 1/2" long and 7 1/4" wide. This one has more depth to it at 1 1/4" tall. Any help IDing the patterns would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Thank you, silverthwait. I've found that some EAPG folk prefer that pictures be taken on a dark background so that it shows off the pattern better. The only problem I have with that is that the light seems to reflect more when I use dark colors. I need to learn how to use my camera phone to try and manipulate the light a little better. Your compliment is appreciated!

You can safely call the first one "Diamond Point" but more than one company made similar patterns. (if it's lime glass, its post 1865). The other one has two distinct pattern elements, but I can't place them together, my bad.

Found out my second plate is US Glass's Missouri pattern although now I'm unsure if it's a serving dish or a bread plate. Apparently Missouri had quite a number of serving dishes.

EAPGpatterns has your Missouri piece listed as a 'pickle' dish

It's kind of large for a pickle dish. According to the illustration in Reilly and Jenks it could be either a pickle dish, a relish dish, an "oval" dish or a bread dish. They don't provide dimensions for the pickle or relish dish but do mention 6", 7" and 8" deep bowls.

I should think the size of the pickles would be a factor.

    (Ahem) :)))

My original catalog lists Oblong, Bread, Olive, and Pickle. all the same shape, no sizes by number listed. From the largest, bread, it goes then oblong, pickle and olive.
